“The Song of Sway Lake” – Trailer

– [Hal] Dearest Charlotte,
you begged me to freeze time. – [Charlotte] Dearest Hal, our son said that when words fail there’s music. (big band music) – [Announcer] Every young couple knows the number one hit ‘Sway Lake.’ But did you know that
Sway Lake is a real place? (“Sway Lake”) – Alright, we’ll start in the east attic, then work our way through
until we find this record. – Your papa never left you a will. – [Ollie] If he did, my
grandmother burned it. – I’m Mrs. Sway. This is my house, who are you? – [Ollie] He’s from Russia. – The greatest nation on earth. (“Sway Lake”) Why does she not go to the dock? – [Ollie] If she weren’t rich,
she’d just be crazy. (“Sway Lake”) – I’m Ollie. – Isadora. Sorry about your dad. – How’d you know about my dad? – Everybody knows. – Cool. (gasp) (melancholy piano music) – Your father cursed this
place when he did what he did. He was an unhappy soul. – Excuse me. – Ollie. – [Ollie] The perfect record. – [Mrs. Sway] I never wanted
you to become like Timmy. Attached to all these dead things. – [Ollie] Dad, I miss you. Why’d you do it? – [Mrs. Sway] It’s easier
to lose a father than a son. – You’re supposed to be helping me. – [Nikolai] I will fix everything. (melancholy piano music) – I gave you a home! I didn’t give you my name! We don’t have to be perfect. – [Hal] You are
a keeper of secrets, Charlie. (moody piano music)

just amazing! It seems to be a moving film with nostalgia, lots of reflexion with a very interesting story. The performance of the actors looks awsome ( and I'm sure it is) and it's very well made. The place of the shooting is also beautiful, with a special but great atmosphere. I'm sure the premiere in LA was incredible. I really can't wait to see it! Congrats for your superb film Ari Gold. I'm so excited to it! X

Can't wait to see the movie! Looks like there is lots of levels to it! I couldn't help but paste an Ari Gold post I made on my Facebook years ago.

"I auditioned for actor/writer/director Ari Gold in Blue Mountain Lake, NY for a new movie he was doing. I had just returned from a multi-day acting gig in Syracuse so I did not have a lot of time to research who he was and his body of work. I was lucky to get a read and did a little extra with his lines which got him to reply with a big smile "I like improv!" I later learned that I did not get the role but I went home and discovered his feature length movie on Netlflix "Adventures of Power"! It has to be one of the best shot comedies of all time. Beautiful cinematography unmatched by any I can think of in the comedy realm! So I'm watching his movie on my big screen TV and I hear that my wife is home and freeze frame it right when Ari is making one of his patented silly faces. My wife walks in and I shout, "Your not going to believe it I auditioned for this guy today!!!!" That is when my wife responds, "Kathleen (my daughter) just had a swimming tourney and you could at least ask how she did first." He He. I always remembered that. Anyhow, Ari just put his movie online. Check it out! I'd love to be in an Ari Gold movie someday!!! Improv is up my alley!!!!"
