A short Tea-time with the musically passionate Alisa Takigawa

Please tell us about your initial impressions of Singapore. The image I had of Singapore is that it has beautiful scenery I arrived yesterday and true to my expectations, Singapore is truly a wonderful city Do you have any singers you admire? Yamashita Tatsuro and Yuming I like musicians from the 80’s What are some things you learnt from these people? Let’s see… well, I learnt everything from them For example, how to bring out the seasons or scenery in just the introduction of the song, and how to use beautiful language in my songwriting It has been around 2 years since you debuted.
Did you ever imagine that you would have the chance to
perform overseas? I’ve always thought of performing overseas one day, but I didn’t expect to be able to do it so quickly, so I’m very happy What are your thoughts on performing in Singapore? I’m very happy to be able to let my Singaporean fans listen to my music, so I hope that they can remember my songs and sing along with me Are there any artistes whom you want to collaborate with? Why? Hmm, collaboration… I would like to collaborate with musicians in Asia When your song “Season” was chosen as the third ending theme for “Nanatsu no Taizai”, how did it make you feel? Ever since I was young, I enjoyed watching anime and started to listen to songs from anisong artistes after hearing them in anime That’s why I’m very happy to be able to become an anisong artiste now and do the theme song for an anime Do you have any habits that you must do before a concert? I don’t really have any in particular Before the live, I try not to think of anything so I won’t be nervous and walk on stage with a blank mind Lastly, please leave a message for your fans in Asia. This is Takigawa Alisa I’ve released an album full of my songs I hope that everyone will listen to it and enjoy it Please continue supporting me in future

Oh my….. She's picking up American accents little by little. I loved the way she pronounced "Collaboration" at 1:22 . May God bless you Alisa-san.
